My HERO

You stood by me when all was well.

You made me laugh and smile.

You never left in times of need,

Not even for a while.

You showed me how to tie my shoes,

And how to throw a ball.

You helped me take my first few
steps,

And wouldn't let me fall.

You let me sit upon your knee,

And steer the driving wheel.

And every time I got hurt,

You knew just how to help me heal.

You taught me my first words,

And how to write my name.

Any time I needed you,

Somehow you always came.

Even if we fought,

In time we would make up.

It didn't even bother you,

When I slurped from my cup.

Although I sometimes hated you,

It never lasted long.

I would always get over it.

Because my love was strong.

You're who I call my HERO.

To me you're like no other.

Cause you were always there for me.

My one and only MOTHER.

** K, this would be the perfect mother, but this is me just pointing out the best in her. Now i only visit her once or twice a year cause i don't live with her..but if you were reading the poem, you would have noticed that all the things i talked about were things done at a young age.
I'm not saying my poem isn;t true, because it was when i still lived with her...It's just that i don't really know if it's still true...(sigh)
