Words can Kill

by Catastrophic Beauty   Aug 2, 2006

While he raises his voice and screams louder,
She cries for help and crouches in the corner.
The words he spits out pierce deep in her soul,
And she is being buried in grief like a mourner.

Her body is being ripped apart flesh by flesh,
Every word spoken slices her more and more.
Another word yelled, another cut being made,
Each inch of pain hurts more now than before.

Now as he screams out "Take your last breath"
Her soul dies and the last bit of her blood spills,
The aching of her body finally stops and ceases,
This just goes to show again that words can kill.
