Bad Fish No More

by Bill Turner   Aug 3, 2006

I swim through the sea of life
Making my way along the reef
Marveling at all that I see
When others look do they marvel at me?

Swimming, always swimming seldom knowing where
I know there must be a reason for the journey
Wandering the oceans of life for many years
Blaming the salt on my ocean of tears

Now I know that I was to blame for it all
As the weight of my life drug me to the bottom
As I was spiraling to the ocean floor
You swam into my life showing me there is more

Now we swim together in the sea of life
Once again I do not know the way
As long as the journey is with you
I do not ever need to

Swim with me through this life
Smiling and laughing along the way
I am not the bad fish I used to be
Your love has set that fish free
