I miss when we hugged
but i dream about it at night
i miss playing with your hair
and when we would play fight

and sitting on your knee
i knew you used to care
i felt you really loved me
cause you were always there

and when i think about it all
my emotions get in the way
of everything i try to be
and have to fake out everyday

i have to fake my smile
& hold my tears inside
cause no one understands
so i just have to lie

they say a boy cant complete a life
but you do so ill prove them wrong
if you weren't here to day
i wouldn't of been here very long

and the time you had to leave
keeps me up every night to cry
thinking about the nightmare
when we had to say goodbye
