Little Child

by Twisted Heart   Aug 11, 2006

Little child, in your bed
I see you sleeping so serene
I softly kiss your little head
and watch you smile as you dream.

Little child, God has kept
Safely folded in his arms
Among the heavens, you have slept
Where God has kept you far from harm.

Little child, full of love
Trusting soul to me he brings
A blessing sent down from above
Carried in on Angels wings.

So let me linger her beside
A child who lives within my soul
Forever looking through her eyes
A part of God that I can hold.

Oh yeah you do have a typo in the last stanza first line:

"So let me linger her beside"

Should be So let me linger here beside. Just letting you know...Holly
