Those Words

by David Marshall   Aug 13, 2006

Say those words,
So pure and true.
I spill my blood,
all for you.

I love you,
was what I said.
It was you,
always in my head.

Say those words,
I want to hear.
Don't be silent,
that reveals your fear.

I love you,
was what I said.
I asked for the truth,
and you lied instead.

Say those words,
It can change everything.
When I hear those words,
I'll feel like a king.

I love you,
was what I said.
Please say it too,
before I'm dead.

Please tell me,
and actually mean it.
there is true love,
because I've seen it.

I love you,
so say those words.
If only you knew,
how much this hurts.

I love you,
you know I do.
so say those words,
and say the truth.

And here we go again. ANOTHER amazingly written poem by David. I love this poem so much. You have an amazing passion for poetry and I commend you for that. You have a way to rhyme and keep the poem running smoothly. Wonderful!

I love how you are soo good at ryhming and it makes since! This poem sounds very sad but i really like it! But when someone tells you they love you it changes everything it makes you feel like someone actually does care and then you open up your heart to them and then they just rip it out the first chance they get! Thats what comes to my mind when i read this poem!
