Mirror, Mirror

I look in at me
I gaze into the mirror
What I see is horrifying
I whimper a cry of terror

The girl I witness
That girl that faces me
That's not my reflection
Can this be a dream?

Alas it is not
That image is what it seems
It is I that sits in the mirror
It's what the world has done to me

My new appearance disgusts me
That image is one I hate
I need to find me again
I need to return before it's too late

But upon my return oh dear mirror of mine
Who is it that thine eyes will see?
Will it be someone new and untrue
Or will I see the real me?

    Hmm, this was an interesting poem, and instead of giving you advice or moral support or whatever, I'll just comment on the poem. I thought it was good, I just thought you rhyme the word 'me' too many times.
