Sounds

Sitting here in the room
People all around me
I see then laughing out loud
But i also see the fear in their eyes

I see straight through the smiles
The happiness and joy
All the way down inside
To the truth inside

Silence is a funny thing
Why is it when we want silence,
every one talks, but when we want
Noise, every one is silent???

I'm not quite sure yet,
But i will figure it out soon...
Sometime before the end
Of the experiment in this room....

Why is it when we are told no,
We take it as yes,
But when they say yes
We don't care anymore???

Life is full of weird things
And questions needing answers.
We will never even find out
What the answer is...
