Nature

by Tiny Reader   Aug 17, 2006

So many ways, so beautiful
is the garden that they share.
Pure blossom, sweet smelling flowers;
fresh grass cut to perfection
each blade standing tall.

Yet violent winds sweep through
where peaceful serenity lies.
Trees restless in unpredictable winters,
thrown side to side
with little care.
--------------------------------------------
If I had a share in the garden
winters would still come.
Yet I'd protect the flowers
and shield them from the sun.

So many ways so beautiful
is the garden that they share,
but it would be more beautiful
if it was me that was there.

    Great descriptions

I was wondering you were trying to do a rhyme theme. If you were, it would be if it was same throughout the poem.

Oh, wowee-- I loved the imagry in this piece. Very nice indeed. The flow was alright, didn't seem too rocky, But I did notice you switched from 5 lines in the first two stanza's to 4 lines in the last two, not sure if that was on purpose or not, but I liked it.

Really good job, hun. Keep it up! 5/5
