Nothing more, Nothing less

No one comes near me
No one dares
Projecting the image
That no one cares

Nobody tries
To get in my way
At a safe distance
Is where they shall stay

As for myself
Alone in my mind
Youll find none like me
Im one of a kind

The cold ice surrounds me
In body and heart
The frost in my voice
Can pierce like a dart

The reason for this
Is all in my past
See and youll wonder
How one could have last

My cold outer shell
Is just to protect
From those that before

Did nothing but attack

So now when you see me
Walking by

Pause and remember

There are reasons why

    Enjoyed this piece very much, especially because it's still something i relate to. i love the way you executed those last few lines that changed the flow and rythm from the stanzas. it really did make me pause and think :) another brilliant one. love and peace always.
