I'll Teach You To Love The Cold Again

by Death By Stereo   Aug 24, 2006

Three hours after the accident
They phoned in and gave me the news
You were stuck beneath a blanket
Of soft white and off blues

They said the slope just slid
With such a furry, such a wrath
Nothing could stop this white beast
It took my baby down in it's path

I didn't believe the words they spoke
I rushed out to make sure it wasn't true
I got there in time to see them pull you out
I remember your face; cold and blue

They said "Everything is fine sir,
You have no need to worry"
The rest he said I can't recall
It's been to long; my memory, blurry

But I'll teach you to love the cold again
Ski the slopes you used to love
You fell down once, now get back up
And look at the world, from the mountains above
