Love Me

by Gemmie Lou   Aug 24, 2006

You have this whole idea of how i should be,
I should look like this,
dress like this,
talk like this.
But have you ever stopped to think i don't want to be this?
I wake up to you shouting,
i go to sleep and your words are still there.
I've lived like this since i was eleven,
just because i don't act like the rest of you,
why should that be bad or wrong?
You've molded the girls in your image and it shows,
but I'm nineteen years old i wont let you mold me.
Other kids love coming home from uni,
they get their washing done,
and there is always bread and milk.
But i dread it,
i count he days till i can go back.
I'm a temp in work and a temp at home.
I don't fit in anymore,
i never did i just didn't know any different!
I wont let you stop me however much this hurts.
One day maybe you'll be proud that I'm different,
probably not but i cant stay here forever. You keep the other two I'll be me.
And if you cant love me for that,
maybe one day someone will!!

Haven't written anything in a while but that means iv haven't been sad for a while!!

I think that we should all be proud to be different and unique, thats what seperates us from others and if the ones we care for the most can't love us for who we are now, then they never will. Amazing write 5/5
