Affection For Attention

Her dainty body teases on-lookers.
With her mini-skirts and barely there tops.
Heavily painted red lips.
Dark shadow ringing her pale eyes.

"Affection for Attention" is her motto.
All the trouble just to hide the depression within.
The hurting flees away, just as soon as she is picked up.
For nothing but a few hours of meaningless fun.

No strings attached, nothing to worry about.
With her clothing now removed.
And his lips to her ear, softly whispering sweet lies into it.
She smiles for this is just a game.

Once it's over, the cash in her hand.
She thanks him, gets dressed and leaves.
Her make up smudged, and clothes wrinkled.
The cash proves, just what she thinks.

"Affection For Attention" Is her motto.
She shall play this game of cat and mouse.
Till the emotions are too much to handle.
But for now, she is winning in this harsh thing called life.
