Don't Label Me

by VioletRaven   Aug 28, 2006

I am not the cutter looking for a family,
I am not the anorexic seeking perfection,
I am not the bulimic trying to feel love,
I am not the girl on your suicide watch.
I am just lost,
Scared,
And alone.
I am just trying to cope,
Survive,
To live.
I am just searching,
Hoping,
Wishing.
I'm just a child fighting an illness,
An affliction,
A disease.
Not demons,
Or monsters,
Nor Fate.
Just the unfortunate product of a world with too many lies,
Too much hate,
And too little happiness.
