You Never Loved Me

I listen to the slow jams playing on
my CD. Missing and reminiscing
about the days you were with me.

My heart skips a beat whenever an
artist sings a certain phrase or I
push repeat on a certain song that
I believe refers to me and you back
in those days.

Tears ex scape my eyes even
though I don't wanna cry. And I'm
hoping soon things will get better.
But you know and I know that the heart never lies.

I wish I could get over you as easily as you have gotten over me . But the truth of the matter is that YOU NEVER REALLY LOVED ME.
