Suicide of the Heart

Such emptiness

And loss of soul,

My heart,

Replaced with one huge hole.

What had seemed right,

Now seems so wrong.

The cause of love,

For which I long.

Wiping away the feelings,

That escape in forms of tears.

Remembering the courage,

That was blocked away by fears.

My heart prepares the dagger,

That will soon dig through its veins.

My hands cannot control it,

I no longer hold the reins.

Each thought of you,

Brings such emotion.

Rising up,

My true devotion.

All that was happy,

The things that were bright,

They started forming,

In a sad, darker light.

My knight in shining armor,

Turned out to be a fake.

Only later did I realize,

That I made a huge mistake.

I fantasized something,

That you weren't at all.

The line in between us,

Rose up to a wall.

Love works us in circles,

It plays with our heart.

It will fill it all up,

Just to tear it apart.

The pain implicated on me,

Is just to hard to bear.

My heart just shatters piece to piece,

And you don't even care.

Looking at your picture,

With which I cannot part.

I seem to have committed,

Suicide of the heart.
