Corpse Bride

by Lithium   Sep 7, 2006

On deaths ship,
The corpse bride calls,
For her loved one,
That took her fall,

Buried deep under,
In an unmarked grave,
She's left to rot,
Left unsaved,

She constantly prowls,
On the hunt for a man,
Who won't bleed black,
But hold a ghosts hand,

Out of her coffin,
And through the gates,
Of Lucifer's cemetery,
To the fiery lake,

Here she meets him,
Every morbid night,
Waiting for the dark,
To come into sight,

Ripping out her heart,
As the sun dies,
Bleeding through her soul,
The moon doth rise,

"Fill me Satan,
With your evil sin,
Take it all,
I've lost you win!"

As he takes,
Her innocence away,
She's left to live,
Another regretful day,

Back to her ship,
She mourns her pain,
Cries herself to sleep,
Yet she'll do it all again,

Tears are her ocean,
Blood is the tide,
Love is non-existent,
The life of a corpse bride.
