Falling in Darkness

by LadyPearl   Sep 9, 2006

Falling in Darkness

Smothering every existing thought
Torturing dreams feeling distraught
Walking the paths where demons tread
Carrying only the unfeeling dread

Reaching relms where death is life
Where fallen angels work and thrive
Falling in darkness, eternally
Living a life of non-believing

Paint your face freshly with paint
Watching as venom begins to taint
Releasing all mental restraint
Leaving behind all rightous complaint

Follow the footsteps of abandoned roads
Turn from rivers where light flowed
Touch and taste the darkness dew
Find the strength to be renewed

Into the darkness, outcast to light
Into the darkness, let it begin tonight
