Sweet September Sky

by Kim   Sep 10, 2006

Translucent images like slides of time
Flashing memories across the night
Familiar faces frozen in motion
A long forgotten sight

Sifting through the shards of life
I tossed aside to move on
Fragmented pieces I cherish so dearly
Even after the hope is gone

Glimmering in the darkness
There is the reason I no longer cry
Surrounded by the arms of my love
Under this sweet September sky

This poem makes me love September. It flows so nicely together and I can just feel the fresh fall air on my neck.
It's so nice to read your poetry again, it's like coming home to a tall glass of cool water after a trip in the desert.
    Wonderful.

    Never stop writing!!

    Much Love,
