Wishing.

by Marta   Sep 14, 2006

Gazing over a cloudless sky so blue,

With only racing thoughts of you.

I sit and wonder how you are,

From a distance way to far.

The moon falls, everything is bright,

Stars fade but birds comfort in song.

Now I think under this willow tree,

Wishing you were here with me.

The sun shines through and I'm alone,

I look up to the sky like you were here.

I remember of the time you held me close,

And my troubles seem to dissappear.

In my mind I see a heart so big,

And a soul so mighty free.

I believe you'll become your dreams,

For all the world to see.

I'm glad I got to know you

No matter what anyone has to say

That night was worth a thousand weeks

Of staying in all day.
