Starting Over.

by Marta   Sep 17, 2006

Back in the day
When all was gloom,
Took every chance I had
To hide in my room.

Wasted time alone
With drugs and diets.
Little did I know
How all got quiet.

Desperation opened
It's uninviting doors.
Sadly I would dwell upon
These unfullfilling wars.

Drug use after drug use
As starvation followed through
I knew I was in trouble
I wouldn't dare if I were you.

One day I woke up
And my soul had died.
It was then I realized
How hard I didn't try.

I started to embrace
All my given gifts
No longer do I struggle
Agaisnt depressions drifts.

For finally I am searching
My luck underneath a clover
As from this moment on
I am starting over.
