Re-Birth

by John (Mr. Whuppy)   Sep 15, 2006

I didn't know whether to put this in poems about life or comedy

Do you believe in Re-birth
have you been here before
were you around like me in 1544
have you regressed to past lives
the world have you seen change
have you been into a room
and felt it rather strange
that you know you've never been there
but familiar sights are seen
tell me have you felt that
to there have you been
have you received a gift or talent
that you just can't explain
is it really past life
or just a mixed up brain

When I was ten to a wedding I went
with all my family
I sat down on a piano stool
where I saw the black and white keys
I started to run my fingers
those ivory pieces did glisten
and played a piece by Schubert
everyone stopped to listen
now I had never studied music
or played a piano before
I was in a state of trance
of that you can be sure
all of this is perfectly true
so I have been told
you see although quite young
I'm really very old

Lol...John you never cease to amaze me. Another great poem from you.
Have you ever thought about publishing your own book? If you haven't I really think you should. Well
    anyway this poem couldn't have
described my thoughts on most days.
I always have that feeling as if I have
been a certain place before. Sometimes I can even go to a place
and already know where everything is
at. So you see your poem makes a
lot of sense and I think you put it
under the right catagory. I love your
work. SO PLEASE HURRY UP AND
PUBLISH A BOOK SO THAT I CAN BUY
    IT....lol

    Keep up the magnificent work.

    Love
    Letty

P.S. I don't think your old, Your just
    wise..lol.:)
