Betrayal of Salvation (Dark)

by Once an Angel   Sep 16, 2006

Born to waste away a life time,
Destined to always fall again.
Branded and marked with failure,
Bathed in deep crimson sin.

Masquerading as the hero,
while doubling as the enemy.
Fooling the entire world,
burying alive true identity.

Second chances have been given,
to the repented, remorseful soul.
But the vain and frail pretender,
no longer holds forgiveness as a goal.

Turning away from redemption,
and freedom from personal slavery.
This betrayal of salvation,
has damned me for eternity.

Awww...this poem was sad. I really loved reading it though. It's very strong. I'm not going to say that I understand how you feel, because I'm sure you get that a lot, but no one really (emphasizing the word really) understands how you feel, but I do know the feeling, and I understand what feeling is in there. Please be okay. I know life can be hard. Hang in there and know that there are people out there who love you. :) Take care okay? Ttyl. :)

    Much love!
