Fake cries

by MissAlotta   Sep 17, 2006

Same face I see staring in the reflection
The scars of tears remain enclosed by skin
Every day they paint a new layer across her face
Trying to cover her happiness deep within

She tries to bring forth what was held in for so long
But every time she tries another tear cascades
Blinding her heart from what she could have
Instead that happiness just slowly fades

She doesn't want people to know what she is
No matter where she goes she cannot hide
Behind her tears and her fake cries
Is true happiness embedded deep inside

Her tears will never stop for just one smile
The depression was deeply succumb
Maybe death was the only serenity left
Inside the grave happiness was yet to come
