The Chains of Death

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   Sep 20, 2006

Gripping so tightly to steal your only breath,
Holding on densely are the Chains of Death.
Wanting to save the princess the knight cries out,
Begging to be released, he shrieks and shouts.

The princess' yells are heard from above,
Screaming for her one and only true love.
The bloodied chains pull tighter against the knight,
Never letting go, enjoying the fight.

The knight struggles one last time against the chains,
He's losing faith and hope, but gaining shame.
The knight takes his final struggling breath,
For closing in tightly are the Chains of Death.

Beautiful flow. the tragedy lies with the tormented hero. we all meet this dilema sooner or later.
