You Are My Life

by John Jenkins   Sep 25, 2006

You are my first thought when I awake,
You are my first thought when I experience heartache.
I wish we were man and wife,
Because you are my life.

Without you I am lonely,
You are my one and only.
Let us end this strife,
Because you are my life.

If you were to leave,
I'd feel pain like you wouldn't believe,
Like a back that hides a knife,
Because you are my life.

If you don't come back,
I just might crack,
And end my life,
Because you are my life.
