Halloween Treats [Acrostic]

by Jessica   Oct 7, 2006

Hunting down sugar, craving those colored sweets
Accepting any kind, emptying all into paper bags
Loving every moment, running around in the streets
Looking almost evil in their fake witch hats and rags
Opening doors to noisy children yelling "Trick or Treat"
Werewolves howling continuously at the bright full moon
Every child happily gazing into their bag and starting to eat
Evening coming to an end, the aftereffects they will feel soon
Never forget that tonight is the night, Halloween is in sight

Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each
line spells a word, usually using the same
words as in the title.

Halloween! =D Lol. Great Acrostic. I usually don't like them because people just put words to form a 'poem.' But this was rather well done. I thought the rhymes were a bit cliche, but otherwise it was good. =) 5/5 xoxo
