Firefly

by jarrod   Mar 15, 2004

Fierce blaze knowing destruction
times of false near corruption
walls crumbling under tide
evil perils and good died

heroine needs for simple charity
misconstruity lamenting clarity
temptress hordes of trite damnation
mortals awaiting their salvation

clustered minds of feeble thought
fabled legends to brains once sought
severe endangerment brought upon
pampered speech ingrained at spawn

Firefly's are mages holding destruction
hiding their peril to overwhelm this world!

You posted this on a very significant day for me! and maybe more appropriate... the ides of march! this just might be my favorite of yours. this is one of those poems where each line is a flawless, independent thought- worthy of standing alone. and to put them all together- so well- is remarkable. profound. so freakin good! 5 for you! you rock! -beav :)
