Another night beside my bed
With tears staining her porcelain cheeks
She clenched my hand so tightly
Silence filled her soul

The moon shone upon my face
And she looked towards the stars
The pulsation of my heartbeats
Swayed across the monitor

I felt her words sink into my skin
And I just wanted to hold her
But I could not move
Screams filled my thoughts

I tried to tell her everything was fine
That I will always be with her
But I could not find my voice
Suddenly my mind filled with tears

I felt the moonbeams upon my skin
Pulling me towards the sky
And as she looked towards the monitor
Steadily heartbeat had gone still
