Sitting back in my black rolling chair
Thinking about the girl on my screen
Reminiscing back when she was here
Always the happiest and kindest teen

The laughs, jokes and silly arguments
Are some memories I hold so dear
Because I know they are so precious
Now that she is no where near here

We used to laugh hard until we cried
Made inside jokes that'll last a lifetime
We went shopping for hours in town
And made sure we spent every dime

Emails are now becoming a necessity
Every day we're sending at least one
Updating each other about our lives
Keeping the friendship we've begun

Praying for each other night and day
And hoping that we'll never depart
Because we know that it's hard being
Best friends surviving an ocean apart

    Oh my gosh this poem made me cry..my sister is in Australia and I'm in America and its soooo hard!! But look, you said it right here

    "Praying for each other night and day"...please keep praying for each other..thats amazing to read because regardless of what religion you are, the Lord hears your prayers for each other and its amazing when you see those prayers come true! SO sorry you guys are far apart, but if your friendship is as strong as you describe, then you'll get through it and not give up! Love this write!
