Isn't This Exactly Where You Like Me

by Mommy And Me   Oct 15, 2006

Once again she stool within the stone
Sapphire tears stained her porcelain cheeks
Bruises took over, not only her skin
But clouded her heart as well

Tracing her tortured eyes, upon the
Great marble letters, December 17th 1979.
Tearing her soul to pieces, she screams
"Isn't this exactly where you like me?"

Her family had fallen apart
Sense that tragic night,
Dear grandpa had sailed away,
Right through the pearly gates

Daddy didn't see the bruises
Over taking her taunting skin
Had love for her mother
... Caused him to go blind

The crimson petals fell, towards the great stone
Jade leaves where to follow, taking her soul along
Her crystal tears fell, for she knew this isn't
Exactly where he wanted her
