Tomorrow Holds Nothing

by Lady Nik   Oct 15, 2006

We sleep as we dream about tomorrow.
We both know there is a chance we won't survive.
This thing they call life.
Who would create something so dreadful and say it is precious?
How can we keep our heads up when we are dying?
How can we love when our loves are being taken?
How can we not be afraid of death when death is the end?
Therefore, you sleep as you dream about tomorrow.
But I know tomorrow holds nothing.

There wasn't a lot of rythm or rhyme, but the meaning was really really awesome. I can totally relate to that. You should do more on the subject.

(BTW, if you didn't already know, I changed my pen name from Scarlett Ivy to Scarlett Amber... it's hard to explain, lol)
