Rainstorm

Staring at me
I'm your selection
looking in your eyes
I see my relfection
Self-pity, hatred
flares up in my soul
Blowing this away
appears to be your goal
Your love is too confusing
why you chose me, I can not see
Your love is so addicting
without you, I can not be.
You are the sunshine
in my rainstorm
You keep me dry
You keep me warm
without you
I would be sitting in the rain
on the edge of my front step
on the edge of insane
