Waterfall

by alone in the crowd   Oct 17, 2006

Rushing water surrounds her
the waves crash around her bare feet
a cold embrace of foam
the mist upon her face blends with her tears
the birds whisper sweet memories in her ear
the rocks around her give shelter from the world
the falls pour onto her head soaking her
her impurities float away in the cleansing water
