You're not there.

Questions
spoken with your voice
running through my skin.
Presence
of breaths on my chest.
Warmth,
covering pain,
as I remember
our last night together,
Fear,
according to my feelings,
swallows my memories
in distant spaces
through rough past.
And present comes back
with your child.
You're not there.
