In the Dark

Sitting in the Dark,
thinking of the past,
trying to remember why,
why we ended it,
why we threw it all away,
all I have to do now is think,
try and remember why,
trying to remember what it was like,
when all I had was you,
the way I liked it,
when we were together,
when we shared everything,
when we watched the stars,
when we watched the sun go from one side of the sky to the next,
and still,
I sit here in the dark,
