Lights in the shadow

Look at me now
shadow of my lost self
less than I ever was
No more dreams yet to come

Some eyes in the shadows
that aren't bright anymore
the times they watched over
have now passed by

I stand up in different time
where starlight shines rare
source of darkening light
that once carried wishes

My mind gets lost
between other worlds
and my soul gets parted
