So Many Sorrys

So many sorrys I hear day after day. So much sorrow I feel, but the nonsense still stays. So many lies told as the truth. So many times I said I hate you.

So many sorrys I said to your face. So many times I wanted you to go away. So many times I cried deep inside. So many times you tried to make it right.

So many sorrys that weren\'t meant. So much anger that made no sense. So many gifts you gave to cover your mistakes. So many smiles I gave that were fake.

So many sorrys when you couldn\'t come to get me. So many times I felt so empty. Now I understand why there was so many sorrys.

I wrote this for my dad.
