Why didn't you write?

Sarah* you were my first real friend
Any wound I had you could tend
We were together, nothing could stop us
But I was wrong, I realised because
One day you had to move away
I knew I lost something special that day
I tried to stay with you, I'd write a letter
You didn't reply, thought your new friends better
I want us to talk, but I have my fears
Cause you didn't write back all these years
All I want to know is why you forgot me?

    Should be "reply"

    This was good. Short and sweet would describe it. The emotion was clear and the wording was good. It flowed pretty well and the rhymes worked. Nice job 5/5
