In The Future ( A wedding)

Lost in a world of imagination
Sitting quietly by the lake.
Staring off into the distance
as reality slips away.

A video of the future,
slowly plays within my mind.
loving the beauty that lies ahead
I don't have to press rewind

Seeing you in your all black tuxedo
while walking slowly down the isle,
I give you a signal of assurance,
ignoring the whispers of the crowd.

Finally reaching my destination
taking hold of your strong hands,
giving me your vow of love forever,
and placing on my wedding band.

Reciting my own special words,
giving you a similar ring,
listening to the bishop pray,
as you continue to stare at me

looking deeply into your eyes,
because now is the time,
for you to kiss the happy bride.
