Drawn Out Of Hate

by Sarah Ann   Oct 30, 2006

Where the broken pieces scatter
And lovers walk out the door
Where tears are nothing; never matter
Love brings emptiness galore

Where her lips are sealed of fortune
And her life tinted with glee
Where the memories are plastered
Lies the thoughts of you and me

Where the streets of cities flurry
And a glance deems a cold stare
Where the children pray in heartache
For commodities unfair

Where the mothers grasp their babies
And some bread is the best meal
Where bulldozers destroy houses
And we ignore all truth that's real

Where the lost souls are forgotten
And deceased has no respect,
Where God is cursed in pure misfortune
Because it's evident he left

Lies the foundation of our sorrows
And the darkness of our fate
For this is where there are no answers
In a world drawn out of hate
