What Happened Here?

What the h e l l happened to this world?
All there is is fighting and dying
And when I take a good look around
All I see is people crying.

Hunger and famine
Lying and stealing
Millions of people
Hiding their true feelings.

People taking drugs
and destroying their life's
Pulling their family and friends
Into their strife.

Friends turning on friends
Many wishing their life to end
Bullying and intimidation
How has this become the world's foundation?

My biggest wish
Is the one that will never come true
I wish for peace between everyone
Including me and you.

I wish their was no fighting
I wish their was no crying
And I wish that so many
good people weren't dying.

So many people are considered selfish and shallow
Because they wish for money and fame
I'm considered unrealistic
because I wish to end suffering and pain.

I know my wish will never come true
But it doesn't stop me from wishing
I wonder how so many people
are presumed dead and missing.

Please someone help me fix this nation
Help the world achieve a better foundation.

    Yes, the world is a messed up place, but try to look at all the good things. That's what I do. We cannot change the evil, and we cannot have the world as a perfect place, we can try, but we know it will never happen. All of these problems are man-made, and only if we stand together can we defeat it, but we will never learn to stand together. There will always be evil in this world.
    But it's wonderful to think of a world where there was none of those things..
