FOREVER AGO you held me close,
You made it seem you would never let go.
You used to whisper things in my ear,
Always knowing what I liked to hear.
I loved you and you loved me,
I hoped that would always be.
I always felt safe when you were near,
When I was with you , I would never fear.
I would always love you and would never let go,
That's how it was SEVERAL MONTHS AGO.

FOREVER AGO I loved you for who you were,
But then you dumped me and went for her.
Ever since then, I cried myself to sleep,
When I finally got tired, my alarm would beep.
I always saw how you felt through your eyes,
But now if I look at them I start to cry.
I hated myself thinking if I did something wrong,
I still can't help but love you, even though your gone.
It's for you to never find out and for me to know,
How I felt SO LONG AGO.

But if you'd listen, I'd say them today.
I've been hurt so many times and needed help,
When I first saw you, my heart started to melt.
