Painful Precipitation

by alone in the crowd   Nov 2, 2006

Each drop of pouring rain
Dripping through the atmosphere
magnifying the hurt of the pain
reflecting back my tears
creating a sheet of illusions
distorting my sight
head full of confusions
day murdered by night
liquid needles pierce my cheek
stabbing at my broken heart
dreadful darkness made me weak
painful pastimes tore me apart
thunder echoes the shrieking cries
lightning clashing against the ground
a wet caress around as it dies
my soul taunted by silent sounds
feel the rain splash upon my skin
an icy chill down my spine
mimicking the hurt from within
killing the life that was once mine
taken away by this water fall
stolen away by the sound and sight
painful precipitation has taken all
painful precipitation won this fight
