You left us too fast

by jessie   Nov 8, 2006

When I look at the world,
I would see injustice,
This believer of faith would see the importance,
If it is in gods almighty plan she will accept,
For to her it isn't the end,
It is just another beginning,
A way to spread her wings,
She will still look down upon us,
To guide us once again,
We can mourn for her lost,
But we can't bring her back,
Lets take her moral work,
Lets take her guiding light,
Lets be the person she was,
Lets finish what she had begun,
She was always there when you needed a shoulder,
She is my inspiration towards becoming a better person,
She taught us how to embrace our lives,
She treated me as her daughter.
She loved me as an equal,
She kept secrets that burdened my soul,
She made me laugh,
She heard my cry,
She saw my smile,
She helped us day or night,
If I could change one thing it would be me not you,
For little Savannah still needed you,
How can I consider myself a friend when I am not there?
I ask for forgiveness because I do truly care,
Tina I love you and will miss you forever,
Do me a favor and console poor Savannah,
Alone and afraid you left her too soon,
I made you a promise and I'll honor my word,
I'll watch over Savannah,
Be her strength, be your heart.
If you watch down from heaven,
Bring light when it's dark.
