Mistakes in life

As I look all around me
All I see is an ocean of people
They are all staring at me
With horrific looks on their faces

I look at my hands and see
A strange liquid staining them
My eyes widen, my mouth drops
What have I done?

I look at the floor
All I see is a shiny liquid
The flood is stained red like my hands
I take a better look at the floor

There underneath all the blood
Lies a knife stained up to the hilt
I feel something running down my arm
Tears roll down my face as I realize what I’ve done
