Life is a Risk *reposted*

by DarkPoetess   Nov 12, 2006

Once I said,
"Life has no risks."
I was wrong, and I learned on 9-11
Life is always at risk.

Life is like a river.
There are smooth, gentle areas
And there are rugged, rough areas.
Life is a risky river.

There is time to reserve,
And a time to risk all.
There is a time to hold back,
And a time to let go.

Life is a rose.
It's a beautiful thing,
But it can be thorny at times.
Life is a risky, rosy river.

I now say,
"Life is full of risks.
A life without risks,
Is no life to live."

There is a time to play sports,
And a time to watch them.
There is a time to be silent,
And a time to cry out.

Life is a winter coat.
It can be warm and cozy,
But it can also let the cold in.
"Life is a risky rosy warm river."

I will say,
"Life is a risk."
I will be right.
What is life without a little risk?

There is a time for Mountain Dew,
And a time to relax.
There is a time to wake,
And a time to sleep.
