The Heart is the Door to True Beauty

The Heart is the Door to True Beauty
.............{ For Jeannie} ............

Eyes many say, are the windows to the soul
happiness and sadness seen deep within.
Yet the heart is the door to this lady\'s
true beauty.

Poetic words bloom gently, nourished with
caressing love that flows from her pen of life.
Tattoo ink that has been embedded deep
within my heart.

Many times I have wondered if there will
ever come a time, our paths in life will meet.
Will she speak as I have imagined
gentle and soft.

The voice of a caring, loving mother
released preciously through verse.
As the door to her heart is always
lovingly open.

And one peek inside was all it took
to see the beauty that lay within.
Heart of a wonderful lady, I call
my friend.

Luanne, this was so beautifully written. Why can't there be more people like you in the world, with such beauty expressed through their words. Thanks very much for the comment, I really appreciate it.

    Dear Friend,

Thank you so much for the kind and beautiful words. I am trully touched. You have given me a true compliment by dedicating a poem to me. I so love your poetry, and to have you write a poem about me... well, I feel very priviledged. Again, thank you.
