From Bad To Worse [A Terrible Tragedy]

by ALEX   Nov 16, 2006

What have we here? A fear of Rejection?
Yet others are awed by her soft cream complexion.
The inspiration of love songs, both good and bad.
Writes poems about what she wishes she had.

The hearts of admirers she captures in passing.
She sees all the glances, assumes they are laughing.
Her girl friends are Jealous. She feels the abandon.
Inside is Self-Doubt like you'd never imagine.

She looks in the Mirror, sees nothing but flaws.
She's up on a stage but can't hear the applause.
Her tormentors' words have a terrible bite.
She flinches, She cringes. To their awful delight.

A pretty girl lost in a hell she calls home.
Alone in the dark, she can let her heart roam.
She feels like she's falling, no idea how fast.
Doesn't know where she's going or how long it will last.

She's leaving us now with no tears on her face;
Revenge for those times when she felt out of place.
So out of Control in a world so corrupt,
A fragile soul lost with that one final cut.

I love this poem Alex. It's my favorite. It's such a pretty rhythm, like a song. Although slightly depressing...Still wonderful =D
