The cycle

by Jen   Nov 20, 2006

The trees swish so gently,
the breeze blowing away,
the leaf fall onto the floor,
making everything look differently.

They are brown and crisp,
and when people walk on them
they crunch along the floor,
breaking into pieces.

They decay into mush,
within the rainy days,
and then they become replaced,
with yet more broken leaves.

The trees are now so bare,
you cannot quite believe,
that a few hours ago,
they were swarming with leaves.

That it now you know it all,
summer has gone and so has fall,
and on comes the winter,
so wrap up all nice and warm.

The snow then does begin to fall,
and then you hear all the children,
making a snow ball,
enjoying it as it lasts.

As then the rain begins to fall,
and turns the snow to mush,
the wind begins to blow,
people go home in a rush.

And then comes the Grass,
with all the leaves too,
the lambs are born,
and so the sky turns blue.

Then this changes into,
a nice and hot day,
the sun comes out,
and again the children play.

And so again the cycle,
replays itself,
and puts us through this pain,
of the changing weather again.
